Child Life Preparation & Education: Age-appropriate explanations are provided to help children understand a parent’s, caregiver’s, or sibling’s medical diagnosis, upcoming procedures, and hospitalization. This can also be used to prepare children for memorials, funerals, or similar gatherings. We create personalized coping plans to gently support children’s emotional expression, help them better understand what’s happening, and foster feelings of safety and control during uncertain times.
